...in every single note lies the perfume of my origins... the intense disquieting green of the Lucania woods, the emigrant’s inheritance, with its old fashioned smell of the barrio, and my grandparents’ house in Buenos Aires, the sound of my father’s voice, him dancing with my mother in close embrace... and my search in various countries, languages and geographies to discover a little about myself, and coming into the port of Gardel to the sound of Piazzolla’s Tango... a living voyage, intense, sincere, taken at the heart’s pace.
Each single particle of this cd is woven of the beauty and integrity of that moment..of your energy and the generous warmth that enfolded my soul... this CD belongs to each of us. Again and always, thank you!
